You can make a one-off 100% tax-deductible donation to Steel City Strings here. By doing so, you are directly supporting our musicians by helping us continue to perform live and online in a time of greatly decreased performance revenues.

Make A Bequest

Leaving a bequest to Steel City Strings is a generous way to make a lasting contribution for the benefit of future art music making in our region.

How Can You Leave a Legacy?

Anyone can choose to leave a gift to Steel City Strings (New Steel City Strings Inc.) in their will. There are different ways to do this:

  • A sum of money that is unrestricted and allows the Board to direct the funds where they are needed most
  • A percentage of your estate
  • Shares or other endowments

Steel City Strings advises that you always discuss your plans with a solicitor to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the terms of your bequest.

How Will You Be Recognised?

You will be recognised in our concert programs and on our website if you leave a bequest in your name, or we can recognise you anonymously. If you intend to leave a bequest, we recommend getting in touch with our Board at [email protected] to provide any instructions or preferences that you have Steel City Strings recognising your contribution.

Who Can I Discuss My Bequest With?

If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Committee at [email protected] or on 0467 869 478 who can link you up with a member of our Board to discuss your options.

Steel City Strings will never pressure you to bequest more than you wish to leave to the organisation, nor follow up with you to discuss your will after discussing your bequest.

Your privacy is our priority.

In Debussy's Sacred and Profane Dances of 1904 the orchestra was joined by harpist Paulina Smirnov whose scintillating playing created a wonderful and subtly-nuanced centrepiece for the concert.

A fascinating program of works from various musical periods... The orchestra played with a strong sense of ensemble, and brought an infectious verve to the Mozart.
